We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Serbia and help drive the success of our CVRM portfolio.

The Role

As a Senior Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting AstraZeneca's CVRM products across your assigned territory, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and delivering commercial excellence. You will act as a trusted scientific partner, helping healthcare professionals better understand treatment options that can improve patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Territory Performance

Achieve and exceed territory sales objectives for AstraZeneca's CVRM portfolio.

Develop and execute territory action plans aligned with business priorities.

Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Manage territory budgets effectively to maximise business impact.

Build Strategic Customer Partnerships

Establish and maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, internists, general practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, key opinion leaders, and healthcare institutions.

Deliver high-quality scientific and product discussions tailored to customer needs.

Ensure optimal territory coverage and customer engagement.

Deliver Scientific Excellence

Communicate key product messages and clinical data using approved promotional materials.

Organise educational meetings, workshops, product presentations, and local scientific events.

Support regional and national meetings and symposia to strengthen AstraZeneca's scientific presence within the CVRM community.

Maintain expert knowledge of CVRM disease areas, products, treatment guidelines, and healthcare trends.

Generate Insights and Collaborate

Gather and share customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights.

Work closely with cross-functional colleagues including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales Leadership to drive business success.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of territory strategies and customer engagement plans.

Ensure the Highest Standards of Compliance

Conduct all activities in accordance with AstraZeneca's Code of Ethics, Company Values, and compliance requirements.

Adhere to local regulations and pharmaceutical industry codes of practice.

Support AstraZeneca's commitment to patient safety, product quality, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Essential Requirements

University degree, preferably in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.

Previous pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally within CVRM, primary care, or specialty care.

Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent planning, organisation, and territory management abilities.

Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness.

Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Good command of English and Serbian.

Strong computer literacy.

Valid driving licence.

Preferred Experience

Experience promoting cardiovascular, diabetes, renal, heart failure, or related therapeutic area products.

Understanding of the Serbian healthcare environment and stakeholder landscape.

Proven track record of delivering strong sales performance in a pharmaceutical field force role.
