Senior Manager, gMG, US Patient Marketing
About this opportunity
This is what you will do:
Reporting to the Senior Director of gMG U.S. Patient Marketing, the Senior Manager will be a key member of the patient marketing team. This individual will be responsible for redefining the Patient and Caregiver educational strategy and execution of patient marketing initiatives for gMG in the US market. They will lead the development and execution of a best-in-class annual patient marketing plan, inclusive of relevant brand strategies. This individual will work closely with patients and caregivers, HCPs, and Patient Advocacy Organizations, as appropriate, and will be a key cross-functional player, liaising with numerous teams to accomplish goals, including: Patient Advocacy, Patient Services, Commercial Operations and PRC.
You will be responsible for:
Portfolio unbranded and branded CRM, including awareness, consideration, conversion and adherence streams This role will act as point of contact for Patient Services Hub (OneSource) to ensure coordination of data and consistency of messaging
Patient marketing materials spanning the gMG portfolio, including disease, C5/MOA and vaccination education across both print and digital
Multicultural initiatives including Spanish speaking materials
Exectional support for the gMG STAR Ambassador programs, helping to tell patient stories so that other patients and caregivers living with gMG can learn how others have successfully identified and manage their disease This includes identifying innovative ways to develop and distribute patient testimonials
Cultivating strong collaborative relationships with cross functional partners including field sales, TLLs, training, Patient Services, Market Research, Business Ops, Promotional Review Committee, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance.
Supporting the development and execution of the annual patient marketing plan, as well as agile evolutions in preparation for competitive entrants
Partnering with multiple patient marketing and media agencies
Adopting a can-do, leadership mindset, creating organizational energy and excitement about the brand, and galvanizing cross-functional teams to buy in to the brand mission
Partnering with Commercial Operations to identify content re-purposing strategies for existing assets, expanding their reach across platforms
Representing brand in PRC process improvement initiatives to ensure content is compliantly, quickly, and accurately approved and deployed
You will need to have:
Bachelor's degree required
Must have 5+ years professional experience with 2+ years in life sciences
Knowledge of marketing principles, including key concepts, brand management and the customer journey
Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Fluent in English (written and spoken language)
Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead
Must be comfortable managing multiple competing, frequently shifting priorities, and working through uncertainty
Ability to gauge the feasibility, impact and risks of proposed programs and develop mitigation plans and ensure internal advocacy and approval
High ethical standards and personal integrity
Travel: anticipate 20%
The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. We would prefer for you to have:
Prior professional experience with Consumer Marketing & Media, Patient Services, Patient Advocacy, and Patient Ambassador Programs strongly preferred
Experience developing patient-centric marketing campaigns, having lead tactical development, MLR/PRC review, execution, measurement and optimization
Oncology, Rare disease, or Specialty care experience preferred
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $115,795 to $173,693. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives, an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
