Monitor and interpret operating parameters, alarm conditions, and system performance trends to identify abnormal, recurring, or deterioration conditions; execute approved response actions, recommend appropriate follow-up measures, document observations and actions taken, and escalate issues beyond established procedures to the relevant System Owners, Maintenance, or Manufacturing teams in a timely manner.

Carry out alarm monitoring, timely response, escalation, and reporting for utility systems through approved alarm management tools, and site communication processes.

Perform operational adjustments, start-up, shutdown, changeover, and recovery activities in accordance with approved procedures.

Coordinate with Planner, Utilities, Maintenance, Manufacturing, and service providers for system shutdowns, equipment handover, and return-to-service activities.

Coordinate, escort, and oversee vendors or service providers during assigned utility-related work activities to ensure compliance with site safety, GMP, and operational requirements.

Provide guidance and on-the-job support to new or less-experienced personnel on routine utility operations, LOTO practices, alarm response, and operational documentation, promoting safe and compliant execution of established procedures.

Perform and verify Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements in accordance with site safe work procedures before equipment maintenance, inspection, or troubleshooting activities.

Assist in permit-to-work preparation, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), line breaking, confined space, hot work, and other safety controls relevant to utility operations.

Provide first-line technical troubleshooting support by investigating equipment and process abnormalities within defined operating procedures and established practices, applying available technical resources to identify likely causes, documenting observations and actions taken, and escalating deviations, non-routine issues, or engineering-related concerns to the appropriate engineering personnel.

Support plant testing, commissioning, qualification, and periodic verification activities related to utility systems.

Maintain accurate shift handover notes, operating records, and documentation in compliance with GMP, safety, ALCOA+ and site procedures.

This position requires shift work to support continuous utility operations and manufacturing requirements.

All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
