Your new role
In this role you will work with within Detection Analytics & Orchestration function to collaborate with architects and analysts across Cyber Defence Centre. You will integrate security technologies, craft SIEM content, develop SOAR playbooks, and align response plans. Your work will directly impact stakeholders by operationalizing their new security solutions and eliminating tedious work within our Security Operations Center. Your experience with major platforms for security monitoring, log management, and ITSM such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, and ServiceNow is an asset for our team.
Moreover, as our Security Engineer we want you to:
Proactively identify opportunities to improve stakeholder satisfaction
Contribute to planning and prioritization of work within the function
Build strong relationships with non-technical stakeholders
Configure out of the box features to integrate products
Understand and develop Python and JavaScript as needed
Maintain alignment with Incident Response function
Your skills & qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security is required; relevant experience may be substituted for degree when appropriate. Advanced degree preferred.
+5 years of relevant experience is required
Ability to lead a project in the development and implementation of processes and technology.
Vendor neutral technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH) desirable
Vendor sponsored and professional certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Splunk, etc.) desirable.

The Cyber Defence Centre is based in Infrastructure and Information Security in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA, and India. The Cyber Defence Centre team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, incident response, cloud security, cryptography, security operations and more.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600.00 to 1,091,600.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
