The Position

Senior Healthcare Transformation Consultant - NAM RIS

Ready to architect the future of digital health and diagnostics? Step into a high-impact role at Roche where you will lead healthcare systems through complex transformations. As a Senior Healthcare Transformation Consultant, you won’t just advise, you will map future patient journeys, redesign critical clinical workflows, and drive the adoption of cutting-edge diagnostic innovations across North America.

The Opportunity

The Senior Healthcare Transformation Consultant - NAM RIS will serve as the healthcare transformation and value consulting capability for Roche Information Solutions (RIS) North America, helping customers define the workflow, operating model and value changes required to adopt digital and diagnostic innovation. Support Digital Business Manager led opportunities and Strategic Growth and Activation (SGA) priorities by translating complex customer challenges into practical transformation, adoption, and value strategies.

The successful candidate is a strategic healthcare consultant who combines structured discovery, multidisciplinary facilitation, systems thinking and change leadership. Able to map patient journeys and workflows, build consensus across clinical, operational and executive stakeholders, translate insight into practical implementation and adoption plans, and connect change to measurable clinical, operational and economic value.

This is a field-based role. The territory is the United States. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport. Up to 50% travel is required.

What You Will Do

Enterprise discovery and transformation strategy: Lead structured discovery and stakeholder interviews across laboratory, clinical, operational, IT, finance, and executive teams to understand enterprise objectives, workflow barriers, organizational dependencies, decision rights, and adoption requirements.

Workflow and operating-model design: Facilitate current-state and future-state patient journey and workflow mapping, role, ownership, governance, and process design across laboratory, clinical, IT and administrative stakeholders; translate agreed changes into practical implementation and adoption plans that support integration into routine care.

Economic and operational value: Develop evidence-based value hypotheses, business cases and measurement approaches that connect operational, clinical, and economic outcomes; clearly distinguish validated evidence, customer-specific assumptions and areas requiring further validation.

Population-health and enterprise engagement: Engage Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), population-health, transformation, strategy, finance, and other health-system leaders to connect RIS solutions to broader enterprise priorities, care-pathway redesign, workflow optimization, and economic value.

Change and adoption readiness: Identify operating model, workforce, resource, governance, and change-management barriers to adoption and develop practical readiness and change approaches in partnership with the customer, Market Adoption, and accountable Roche teams.

Pilot learning and feedback cycle: Capture recurring workflow, operating-model, value, and adoption patterns from customer engagements and contribute validated learning to SGA-led commercialization playbooks, Market Adoption learning, reusable transformation methods, and future activation strategies.

Executive facilitation: Facilitate complex senior-level customer discussions, align stakeholders around shared outcomes, and help translate ambiguous organizational challenges, competing priorities and unclear ownership into actionable transformation decisions.

Additional tasks:

Go to market responsibility and role clarity: As part of RIS NAM Go to Market, this role contributes workflow, operating model, economic value, and adoption expertise to the pre-market commercial motion in partnership with DBMs, SGA and the accountable RDC Sales organization. The role does not own the customer relationship or scaled implementation.

Capability development: Build internal capabilities in enterprise discovery, executive facilitation, workflow redesign, economic-value framing, change management and outcome measurement.

Evidence and governance discipline: Maintain clear assumptions, evidence provenance, deliverables, and success measures and avoid unsupported clinical, financial or implementation claims.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
