Global Technical Operations & Supply 

Global Technical Operations & Supply (Global TechOp&S) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOp&S oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.

Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The Senior Director, Global Quality Integration & Alliances is a senior strategic leader responsible for defining, leading, and executing global quality integration activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestments, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.

This role ensures that acquired or partnered entities are effectively integrated into the global Quality Management System (QMS) in a compliant, risk-based, and business-enabling manner. The position also provides global oversight of quality governance for external partners and alliances, fostering strong, transparent, and compliant quality relationships across the network.

You will be responsible for

Owning and leading the global quality integration strategy for acquisitions, divestments, and growth initiatives.

Acting as the Global Quality Integration Lead for M&A activities, including due diligence and post‑deal integration.

Defining and executing quality integration roadmaps, gap assessments, and remediation plans.

Providing global quality governance oversight for external partners and alliances, in partnership with the Global Head of QMS.

Defining standards for partner quality agreements, oversight models, and escalation pathways.

Ensuring compliance with global GxP regulations and inspection readiness.

Leading cross‑functional integration teams across Global Quality and business functions.

Capturing lessons learned and continuously improving integration playbooks and tools.

You will need to have

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality, with experience in M&A or partner oversight.

Strong knowledge of global GxP regulations and quality risk management.

We would prefer for you to have

Proven leadership of quality integration for acquisitions or strategic alliances.

Experience working with CMOs or external partners.

Strong senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Experience operating in a complex, global matrix organization.

Location

Hybrid – Parma preferred, other strategic locations in Europe will be considered
