Description Overview
The QA Manager Benelux is responsible for ensuring that all Perrigo activities in the Benelux region are conducted in compliance with applicable EU GDP requirements, national legislation (Netherlands & Belgium), and Perrigo Quality Management System (QMS).
The role combines operational quality leadership with formal GDP Responsible Person (RP) accountability in the Netherlands, and Deputy RP accountability in Belgium, ensuring continuous compliance of distribution activities and safeguarding product quality, patient/consumer safety, and regulatory adherence.
The position acts as the quality interface with Competent Authorities (IGJ in the Netherlands, FAGG/FAMHP in Belgium or Ministère de la Santé in Luxembourg) and ensures inspection readiness and compliant communication.
Scope of the Role
As QA Manager Benelux, you will:
- Act as Responsible Person (NL) and Deputy RP (BE), ensuring full GDP compliance
- Lead Quality oversight across distribution, supply chain and third parties
- Drive inspection readiness and represent Quality towards Competent Authorities (IGJ, FAGG)
- Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead recalls, deviations, CAPA and audits with confidence and authority
- Shape a strong quality culture while managing and developing your team
Experience Required
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in QA within a GDP-regulated environment
RP or Deputy RP experience (or ready to step into this role)
Strong understanding of Benelux regulatory framework
Solid leadership mindset with the ability to influence at senior level
Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
A proactive, risk-based and solution-oriented approach
