Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Lead production and capacity planning for suture export manufacturing.
Own export operations planning inputs, perform analysis, and provide recommendations for integration into the Site Master Manufacturing Plan.
Maintain close alignment with regional planning, country planning, and SNP to enable resilient and robust planning outcomes.
Collaborate with the site to drive digital planning initiatives and continuous efficiency improvements.
JOB DUTY & RESPONSIBILITY
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Manage and develop work processes that integrate customer delivery requirements into manufacturing plans.
Supervise the planning and preparation of production schedules
Responsible for managing the immediate and medium-term production schedule for some of the Production Units in the manufacturing plants of J&J Medical (Suzhou) Ltd.
Achieve excellent Customer Service with low backorder levels, while maintaining control of the Inventory (RM, WIP, FG)
Ensure that all Quality and EHS requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the Company’s Safety Statement when procuring Stock items. Take part in problem solving in material flow
Support creation of Master Production Schedule and agree and execute Schedule at code level with business partners (Manufacturing, Procurement and Engineering). Ensure the work in the production line (work orders). React to deviations to the production schedule. Reporting and tracking those deliveries meet the promises
Support new product launch and other projects by providing production schedule and materials planning.
Integrate plant efficiency needs in the production schedule to support an optimal utilization of resources
Lead and support Lean initiatives throughout the Plant as appropriate
Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required Experience Must Have: 3-5 years
Nice to Have: 7-10 years
Education Must Have: Bachelor, Industry / Computer Science Master is preferred
Nice to Have: Six Sigma /LEAN Manufacturing
Nice to Have: CPIM or CSCP
