Working Environment and Location

This is a permanent, full-time, field-based position.

Location of the office: Milan.

Purpose and Scope

Be a trusted advisor for scientific exchange with Key External Experts (KEEs) and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Generate medical insights through the collection of field-based data.

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders within and outside of Medical Affairs.

Execute the tactical field plans for engagement with the medical and scientific community for assigned products.

Role and Responsibilities

Engage in scientific exchange in which knowledge about product(s), disease(s) and therapeutic areas is shared to ensure safe and effective use of Astellas products.

Engage in discussions on emerging trends in dieasease management, treatment approaches and the evolving therapeutic landscape.

Maintain relationships with external stakeholders through one-to-one and group interactions, demonstrating strong scientific expertise and a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.

Maintain up-to-date medical, scientific, and clinical knowledge to enable credible peer-to-peer scientific exchange.

Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and sustain a thorough understanding of the local healthcare environment, system dynamics, and evolving healthcare landscape.

Support Medical Education activities.

Proactively identify and engage with future stakeholders (KEEs, Nurses, Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals) in alignment with local health care system.

Essential Qualifications

Significant experience in lung cancer, with a deep understanding of the clinical landscape.

2-4+ years of MSL experience.

An established network of Lung Cancer KOLs and clinicians.

Fluent Italian and English.

Preferred Qualifications

Educational Background: MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent.

Clinical research experience.
