Job Description:

MSL Lead

Medical Affairs | Mexico City | Hybrid

Are you an experienced Medical Affairs leader ready to shape medical strategy, build influential scientific partnerships and develop a high-performing MSL team?

Ipsen is seeking an MSL Lead to define and execute the medical strategy for an assigned portfolio in Mexico. Acting as a trusted scientific partner, you will engage healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and medical societies while ensuring the highest standards of scientific integrity, compliance and patient focus.

Your impact

You will:

Lead the development and execution of the medical strategy

Manage, coach and develop a team of MSLs

Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and scientific societies

Provide high-quality scientific and clinical expertise to internal and external stakeholders

Support pre-launch activities, regulatory submissions and cross-functional brand strategy

Contribute to late-phase clinical trials, real-world evidence projects and scientific publications

Lead advisory boards, congress activities and scientific knowledge-sharing initiatives

Maintain full compliance with Mexican regulations, industry standards and Ipsen policies

What you bring

Medical degree, with postgraduate training in a related clinical or research discipline desirable

Strong pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs

Clinical practice experience and established relationships with relevant healthcare professionals

Sound knowledge of the Mexican healthcare and regulatory environment

Experience leading and developing MSLs or medical teams

Strong scientific communication, strategic thinking and stakeholder-influencing capabilities

Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, cross-functional matrix environment

Fluency in Spanish and English

Availability to travel up to 60%
