Your New Role 

This is a one-year temporary position in Clinical Reporting, Medical Writing, Diabetes and Obesity. In this role, your main responsibility will be to drive the preparation of complex clinical documents and act as a project manager. More specifically, you will:

Plan, develop, and oversee regulatory documents, including study protocols, informed consent forms, investigator’s brochures, clinical summaries, pediatric plans, briefing packages, and responses to health authority questions according to business needs.

Represent Clinical Reporting in cross-functional project teams and provide guidance on planning regulatory documents, document requirements, and optimal data presentation.

Collaborate with stakeholders across Development, including Medical & Science, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and other functions, ensuring information and data are reported accurately, completely, and scientifically.

Execute Clinical Reporting deliverables according to the Clinical Reporting strategy for content and documents to efficiently support project needs.

Engage in knowledge sharing, process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and the promotion of a strong quality mindset.

We are globally oriented, and you will work closely with colleagues in cross-functional teams both in Denmark and internationally. The position is office- based in Søborg, Denmark, and daily physical presence is required.

Your New Department 

You will join Clinical Reporting, in the Medical Writing function at Novo Nordisk, currently comprising around 160 Medical Writers worldwide. Clinical Reporting is part of Novo Nordisk Development and is anchored alongside the Regulatory and Quality functional areas.

Development is responsible for managing clinical drug development and submissions to health authorities worldwide, from early development phases through to market authorization. Clinical Reporting supports all clinical drug development projects across therapy areas. We strive to use our scientific expertise to drive clear and impactful communication on the conduct and outcome of clinical trials and all Novo Nordisk’s drug development programmes.

Your Skills and Qualifications 

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

A Master's degree within natural or health sciences (MSc, MSc Pharm or equivalent), preferably supplemented with a PhD and/or relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience with scientific research methodology, including designing and conducting experiments, analyzing and reporting experimental results.

Experience with a broad range of scientific writing tasks.

A track record of driving complex tasks from start to finish while navigating a multidisciplinary stakeholder landscape.

Expertise in communicating scientific information, including the ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.

Furthermore, you have a good understanding of clinical development, regulatory processes and requirements, and clinical documents. You demonstrate strong project management and collaboration skills and are fully proficient in written and spoken English.

On a personal level, you are strategic, proactive, and structured, with strong planning and coordination skills. You are a collaborative team player who effectively manages stakeholders, builds consensus, and adapts well to changing priorities and tight timelines. You are also detail-oriented, pragmatic, and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
