Market Access Manager

This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The Position
Join Roche as a Market Access Partner and help shape the future of healthcare delivery through strategic stakeholder partnerships and value-driven access.
The Opportunity
- Drive national market access and policy shaping: Lead strategic Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions and dialogues with Swedish national evaluation bodies, including the MTP Council (MTP-rådet) and TLV, to accelerate patient access to innovative diagnostic solutions.
- Support improvement of clinical care pathways: Collaborate proactively with National Program Areas (NPO), the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), and medical guideline committees, supporting them with data and insights that enable decisions that improve clinical care pathways through introduction of diagnostics into national guidelines and frameworks.
- Demonstrate health-economic value: Develop, adapt, and communicate robust health-economic models, budget impact analyses, and real-world evidence in partnership with academic researchers, clinical registries, and regional healthcare leaders.
- Overcome systemic funding barriers: Map regional funding flows and engage regional healthcare directors across Sweden's Regions to help them visualize and bridge budgeting silos between laboratory diagnostics and downstream clinical care.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration: Partner with colleagues from across the commercial, and medical functions in Diagnostics and Pharma in a trust-based and collaborative environment to jointly develop and implement access strategies.
- Pioneer sustainable healthcare solutions: Identify opportunities for regional innovation funding, pilot projects, and modern reimbursement models that deliver lasting value to patients, clinicians, and society.
Who You Are
- Educational background: You hold a university degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience: You bring 3+ years of dedicated experience in Market Access, Health Economics, or Outcomes Research (HEOR) within Swedish healthcare, medical technology, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), or pharmaceuticals.
- Healthcare system insight: You have hands-on experience navigating Swedish healthcare governance, regional funding structures (such as Samverkansmodellen), and national assessment bodies (MTP-rådet, TLV).
- Communication and translation skills: You excel at translating complex health-economic evidence into clear, persuasive value propositions for non-economist decision-makers and regional payers.
- Collaborative mindset and languages: You thrive in cross-functional team environments, are comfortable with travel as needed, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
Please submit your application and CV in English.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
