-Implements strategies at a country level, contributes to the timely listings and contract renewals of Novartis brands. -Interprets payer research results to develop solid insights on explicit and implicit needs of payers. Leverages thispayer environment knowledge to develop, optimal brand pricing, marketpositioning and stakeholder influence strategies. -Delivers high quality, impactful, product listing agreements and develops negotiation strategies in collaboration with the Health Policy and/or Access Team. -Manage cross -functional teams in the development and submission of evidence dossiers to HTA and/or P&R bodies
Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of optimal pricing and reimbursement strategies in partnership with global, regional, and local stakeholders.Develop market access strategies that support successful product launches, lifecycle management, and sustainable patient access.Generate and leverage health economic evidence, value dossiers, and access-related messaging to support reimbursement and funding decisions.Drive the development of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submission strategies, plans, and supporting evidence packages.Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal to align access and pricing strategies.Define and execute contracting and reimbursement strategies for both new and established products.Lead evidence generation initiatives, including real-world evidence (RWE) and health economics projects, to demonstrate product value to payers and policymakers.Monitor market access, healthcare policy, and reimbursement landscape changes, translating insights into actionable strategies.Foster strategic relationships with external stakeholders, including payers, policymakers, healthcare institutions, and industry bodies.Manage complex market access projects to ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution.Support business objectives by identifying opportunities to enhance patient access while optimizing commercial performance.Key Performance IndicatorsQuality and timeliness of HTA submission strategies, plans, and deliverables.Achievement of optimal reimbursement and patient access outcomes.Successful implementation of pricing and contracting strategies.Timely generation and utilization of health economic and outcomes evidence.Improved market access, funding, and affordability outcomes across key products.Effective cross-functional collaboration and project delivery.Essential RequirementsMBA, master's degree in health economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field preferred.Strong experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, Health Economics, or Healthcare Policy within the pharmaceutical industry.Proven experience in developing health economic models and leading evidence-generation initiatives.Hands-on experience supporting HTA submissions and reimbursement applications.Strong understanding of healthcare systems, payer environments, and market access frameworks.Experience working across cross-functional teams to develop and implement access strategies.Demonstrated project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills with the ability to translate insights into business recommendations.Experience in contracting, pricing strategy development, and reimbursement negotiations.Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in a matrix organization.Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Desirable Requirements:Strategic Pricing & ReimbursementMarket Access StrategyHealth Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)Health Technology Assessment (HTA)Real-World Evidence (RWE)Healthcare Policy & Public HealthFinancial Analysis & Business AcumenData Analysis & Evidence GenerationCross-Functional CollaborationProject ManagementRegulatory Affairs UnderstandingStrategic Partnerships & Stakeholder ManagementInnovation & AgilityResults OrientationPreferred ExperienceExperience in developing and executing access strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.Proven success in securing reimbursement and improving patient access outcomes.Strong expertise in payer engagement, value communication, and evidence-based decision-making.Experience working in highly regulated and evolving healthcare environments.Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives with significant business and patient impact.LanguagesEnglish (Fluent)
