Within the QC Microbiology department, ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant microbiological testing is essential to support product quality and patient safety. The industry is rapidly evolving toward automation, digitalization, and rapid microbiological methods (RMM). This internship will contribute to our strategic roadmap to modernize and optimize microbiological controls.
Your role :
The intern will participate in the benchmarking, evaluation, and preliminary qualification of alternative rapid and automated microbiology technologies. Activities include:
Mapping available RMM and automated solutions.
Comparing technologies based on performance, regulatory acceptance, cost, and operational fit.
Conducting traditional testing as compendial reference method.
Designing and executing laboratory evaluations by tests in accordance to study protocol (feasibility, robustness, usability).
Supporting data analysis, risk assessment, and decision matrices (SWOTs, scoring grids, ROIs).
Contributing to recommendations for implementation within QC Microbiology.
Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to QC, manufacturing leadership and QA stakeholders.
Contributing to the transformation roadmap.

Currently undertaking studies in a relevant field
Methodical, curious and team spirit
Fluent in English, French is a plus
