Healthcare Provider AI Solutions Lead
Ballerup
Your impact begins here
As AI Lead, you will shape how Commercial uses data and AI to work with healthcare providers (HCPs) across all affiliates. You will turn Commercial strategy and Novo’s ambitions into a focused portfolio of AI products and analytics that deliver measurable business outcomes, and you will lead a team of around 10 people to build them. Your work will help leaders make better-informed decisions, today, for people living with serious chronic diseases.
What you’ll bring
You combine hands-on delivery leadership with strong commercial understanding, and you can explain complex AI topics to anyone in the room.
A Master’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, AI, digital product development or commercial technology roles.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across data engineering, data science, analytics engineering, product ownership, AI solution development and business analysis, and building capability and high performance.
A strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI, machine learning, analytics or decision-support products from idea to production, including adoption, value tracking and continuous improvement.
Deep understanding of commercial business processes and healthcare provider engagement, and the ability to turn strategic priorities into scalable data and AI products.
Experience working with senior business stakeholders and partners across commercial, medical, IT, enterprise architecture, data governance, privacy, legal and operations.
Strength in roadmap management, prioritisation, resource planning, delivery governance and agile ways of working.
A solid understanding of responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, validation and compliance in a regulated environment.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Useful, but not essential:
Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
What you’ll do
You will own the Commercial HCP Data & AI roadmap and the team that delivers it, from first idea to a product people use every day.
Shape the roadmap: translate Commercial strategy and Novo’s ambitions into a focused portfolio of AI products and analytics, and set the technical and product direction for reusable data assets, conversational AI, decision-support tools and ML models in line with enterprise architecture, security, platform and data governance standards.
Prioritise what matters: run a pragmatic intake process that balances business value, data readiness, technical feasibility, adoption potential, compliance and team capacity.
Lead and grow your team: manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10 people, with clear roles, decision rights and ways of working. Coach on commercial domain knowledge, agile delivery, engineering discipline, data quality, testing, documentation and responsible AI.
Deliver end to end: guide work from opportunity assessment and data readiness through proof of concept, MVP, production, adoption and continuous improvement. Work closely with architects on standards for design, reusable data models, code reviews, testing, model validation, monitoring and support handover.
Track value and reliability: define and monitor business KPIs, adoption, quality and service health, so products keep delivering value after launch.
Embed governance and responsible AI: work with legal, privacy, IT security and risk to ensure trusted data sources, clear ownership, access controls, lineage, GDPR compliance, transparency and human oversight.
Who you’ll work with
You will lead a multidisciplinary team in Enterprise IT & Quality, where colleagues work across the Novo value chain, stay close to stakeholders and help deliver trusted technology, high quality and responsible ways of working.
You will be the bridge between Commercial and technology. Your closest partners will be Commercial business teams and product owners, along with enterprise architecture, platform teams, data governance, privacy, legal and operations. You will also work with senior business leaders and affiliates, turning Commercial opportunities into clear problem statements, solution options and delivery plans that technical and non-technical colleagues can act on.
Together, you will remove blockers, create clarity on priorities and embed new tools in daily decision-making.
What you can expect here
Data and AI are strategic priorities at Novo, and you will have strong leadership sponsorship for this work. You will influence Commercial strategy, partner with senior executives and help define how AI changes decision-making in a rapidly evolving pharmaceutical landscape.
You will be trusted to take ownership and be supported to perform at your best, in a culture that values curiosity and innovation. You will grow your leadership and technology career by leading a talented team, working across functions and building new skills along the way.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
