We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead Medical Affairs who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Digital Technology Patient Evidence team, based in our HQ office in Brussels, Belgium.

About the role

This is a global IT role at the heart of how we support medical teams around the world. You will own the strategy, roadmap and day-to-day performance of the technology platforms that power our medical inquiry, outbound clearance and controlled access processes. You will make sure these systems stay secure, compliant and reliable, while shaping how we roll out new capabilities. Working closely with our strategic technology partner, you will help turn platform releases into real value for patients and for the teams you support. Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and Digital Technology colleagues across the organization. You will partner closely with medical leaders and stakeholders, technology peers across clinical, quality, regulatory and safety areas, and colleagues managing related platforms, to keep everyone aligned on priorities. You will also build a close working relationship with our external technology partner and coordinate a mix of internal and external specialists to keep projects moving.

What you’ll do

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Medical Affairs digital technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global objectives

Oversee system operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, data integrity, and cybersecurity requirements across all supported platforms

Act as system owner, managing release cycles, validation activities, and continuous improvements to maintain high performance and compliance

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience

Build and manage partnerships with technology providers to implement new features and stay aligned with industry best practices.

Ensure integration and connectivity across systems, enabling seamless data flow and supporting cross-functional collaboration

Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

Master’s degree or equivalent experience in technology, life sciences, or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in technology within a healthcare or life sciences environment

Experience working with content or document management platforms, ideally Veeva Vault would be a plus

Project management experience, ideally delivering technology projects end to end

Good understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for technology systems in a life sciences setting

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
