Would you like to inspire your teams and drive commercial performance through hands-on field leadership? Take the lead on a high-potential territory and bring our national strategy to life through an ambitious regional plan and practical action plans.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who sets high standards and brings people together, constructively challenges existing practices, supports change and provides practical assistance in complex commercial situations.

You will lead a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives through direct and indirect management, while developing relationships with pharmacies and pharmacy groups across your territory.

Your responsibilities: develop your region and strengthen collective performance

🔹 Build and lead your regional commercial plan

Define a roadmap tailored to the South-West region and aligned with the national strategy.

Translate commercial ambitions into objectives, priorities and action plans for each sales territory.

Analyse results and performance indicators, identify gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Establish effective management routines, including business reviews, follow-up on commitments and sharing best practices.

Anticipate developments in the community pharmacy market and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

🔹 Lead with high standards, close support and personal example

Unite your team around a shared ambition and clearly defined expectations.

Support individual and collective performance through explicit objectives, regular feedback and tailored development plans.

Recognise achievements and address performance gaps constructively and respectfully.

Align commercial practices and ensure compliance with established methods, internal policies and compliance requirements.

Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and talent development within your region.

🔹 Use field coaching to drive development

Regularly accompany pharmaceutical sales representatives on joint field visits, from preparation through to debriefing.

Observe practices and define practical, measurable improvement actions.

Develop skills in customer understanding, negotiation, prioritisation and the use of commercial tools.

Gradually strengthen team autonomy and accountability while maintaining rigorous execution.

🔹 Develop customer relationships and support key commercial priorities

Meet with strategic pharmacies, pharmacy groups and partners across your region.

Provide expertise in complex negotiations and situations requiring managerial support.

Ensure effective implementation of campaigns, product launches, commercial agreements and customer plans.

Ensure appropriate customer targeting and focus efforts on development priorities.

🔹 Contribute to collective success

Collaborate with fellow Regional Sales Directors and the Key Accounts, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Business Development and support teams.

Share successful initiatives and contribute to their rollout.

Participate in cross-functional Sales Department projects and take ownership of selected change initiatives.

Your profile

You hold a higher education qualification in business, science or management, ideally at Master’s level.

You have proven experience in commercial management, ideally 3 to 5 years, leading field-based teams in the pharmaceutical industry, generics, consumer healthcare or a B2B environment closely connected to the community pharmacy network.

Your track record demonstrates tangible results, whether in territory development, performance improvement, team development or the transformation of commercial practices.

You bring:

A results-driven mindset: you turn objectives into action, measure their impact and adjust your decisions pragmatically.

Leadership that brings people together: you provide purpose, build commitment and help your team develop.

Strong field-coaching skills: you observe effectively, provide precise feedback and support skills development.

Negotiation expertise: you are comfortable working with strategically important customers and handling complex commercial situations.

Data-driven management skills: you use performance indicators to build relevant action plans.

Proficiency in commercial tools: CRM, Excel and PowerPoint.

Agility, integrity and team spirit: you challenge existing practices thoughtfully and contribute to shared success.

Professional English is required to understand Group materials and participate occasionally in international discussions.

C2-level French is required.

This role requires a strong field presence.

What we offer

A stimulating environment: join a company with a close-knit team, backed by an international group, and help shape our commercial practices.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
