Define enterprise-level strategic choices, portfolio priorities and resource allocation principles to ensure the organization focuses on the highest-value growth opportunities and achieves sustainable business results.

Own the prioritization of the overall portfolio across disease areas, brands and channels by evaluating growth potential, strategic fit, investment requirements and business impact. Partner with senior stakeholders to define objectives, success measures, governance mechanisms and decision milestones, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with overall portfolio and commercial strategy. Monitor progress, resolve cross-functional barriers and drive timely decision-making to maximize strategic outcomes and business impact.

Facilitate alignment among Marketing, Commercial Excellence & Execution, regional teams and business divisions to ensure execution activities support strategic objectives. The role is responsible for maintaining strategic coherence and organizational alignment, rather than managing day-to-day execution activities.

Establish enterprise-level performance reviews and strategic monitoring mechanisms to assess business impact, portfolio effectiveness and progress against strategic objectives. Generate recommendations for strategic adjustments, resource reallocation and growth acceleration opportunities based on market performance and organisational priorities. The focus is on evaluating whether strategic choices deliver the intended outcomes;

Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Strategy team with strong capabilities in strategic thinking, portfolio management, business planning and cross-functional collaboration. Create a culture of enterprise thinking and fact-based decision-making, ensuring the organization develops a disciplined and consistent approach to commercial strategy development. How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
