About this opportunity
Job Description Summary
The Delivery Coordinator supports the Automation Delivery Lead in coordinating the day-to-day execution of automation delivery, with an initial focus on the Aurora programme. The role helps maintain integrated plans, transparent reporting, effective governance, and timely follow-up across business stakeholders, delivery partners, architecture, engineering, quality, security, validation, and operations.
While initially assigned to Aurora and automation initiatives, the role is designed as a flexible delivery coordination capability that may support DevOps & Automation and, based on business priorities, other Tech P&S teams. Working under the direction of the accountable Delivery Lead or initiative owner, the position enables disciplined execution without assuming the strategic ownership or end-to-end accountability of the lead role.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to
Support the Automation Delivery Lead or other accountable delivery owner in coordinating delivery activities across assigned programmes, projects, releases, and workstreams.
Maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, action logs, risks, issues, decisions, change records, and governance documentation, ensuring information remains current and traceable.
Coordinate day-to-day collaboration among business stakeholders, internal technology teams, delivery partners, and other third parties; follow up on commitments and escalate obstacles or decisions requiring lead attention.
Prepare governance meetings, delivery reviews, status reports, dashboards, minutes, and decision materials, providing an accurate view of progress, forecast, scope, quality, costs, resources, and delivery health.
Coordinate demand intake, mobilisation, delivery scheduling, testing, validation, release readiness, deployment, business adoption, and transition to operational support in line with the applicable delivery lifecycle.
Track delivery-partner performance, resource commitments, deliverables, documentation, invoices or consumption where relevant, and knowledge-transfer actions; highlight deviations to the accountable lead.
Support adherence to enterprise architecture, information security, GxP, validation, data integrity, quality, release, procurement, and financial-control requirements by coordinating evidence, reviews, approvals, and remediation actions.
Identify opportunities to improve delivery routines, templates, reporting, tools, reusable assets, and ways of working, and help implement agreed improvements across assignments.
Provide coordination support across DevOps & Automation and, when assigned, other Tech P&S teams, adapting to the governance model, delivery method, and priorities of each initiative.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant certification or training in project delivery, agile methods, IT service management, or change management is advantageous.

Understanding of end-to-end technology delivery, including demand intake, mobilisation, requirements, design, build, testing, validation, release, deployment, adoption, and transition to support.
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods and common delivery-management tools.
Experience supporting outsourced service providers or distributed delivery teams, including tracking commitments, performance, deliverables, dependencies, and escalations.
Knowledge of DevOps, automation, low-code, workflow, integration, release management, or platform delivery is advantageous; Appian or comparable automation-platform experience is beneficial but not essential.
Awareness of enterprise architecture, information security, quality, GxP, validation, data integrity, and audit expectations in a regulated environment.
Strong organisational, analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently within agreed boundaries, exercise sound judgement, and escalate matters requiring strategic direction, approval, or delivery ownership.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
