Our Team, Your Impact
As Data Science Manager, you are a manager within External Manufacturing Central Service team working in close collaboration with internal colleagues and stakeholders identifying systemic process optimizations, developing reporting tools and assessing cross-functional data.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Identification of systemic process optimizations in the QA/QC area by linking various data sources and reporting structures (e.g., complaint data, product data evaluations in the form of quality reports).
Development and evaluation of solutions to cross-functional business challenges through the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions (machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning).
Planning and execution of end-to-end projects with a focus on data science, Digital Transformation Applications (DTA), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), involving the IT interface partner.
Responsibility within QO for the GMP-compliant implementation of a system for digitized data availability, with an interface-validated concept for database access, timely and comprehensive data analysis, monitoring, and control of quality processes, e.g., complaint capture/evaluation/reporting as well as PQR, KPI, and certificate creation (CoA).
Creation, review, and administration of templates/data entry forms for KPI and quality reporting for quality control and quality assurance, as well as implementation of a timely quality management overview.
Alignment with internal stakeholders (including Quality, Production, Engineering, MS&T, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, HR) and the global point of contact for data analysis regarding data availability and preparation in order to support, digitally transform, optimize, and automate the above processes.
Your Skills and Experience
You have completed university degree in IT, mathematics, statistics, engineering or data science; ideally experience in collecting and interpreting analytical results
You have at least 2-3 years of professional experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector or a related field
You have at least 1 year of experience in a multidisciplinary data and analytics environment
Quick comprehension, independent working style, and sound practical knowledge of statistics including related tools
Good Office skills, SAP knowledge
Experience with TrackWise/Veeva, Databricks, Microsoft Power Platform tools, and Qlik Sense is a big advantage
Good knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and VBA
Very good English language skills
Strong problem-solving skills with analytical and deductive thinking
Project management experience in handling large and complex datasets from different information sources
Practical experience handling large and complex datasets from heterogeneous information sources using analytics and big data tools, machine learning, and advanced analytics
Strong customer and service orientation
