WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a CRM Operations Specialist, you will provide first-line support for Veeva CRM business and operational questions across Outside US (OUS), with a focus on ELMAC. You will help users resolve requests, support key business processes, improve how the team works, and keep the CRM community informed and enabled.

You will partner with business stakeholders and the CRM team, who will provide guidance on complex questions and escalations. You will also help distinguish business and operational requests from technical defects or system development needs, routing these to the appropriate IT or product teams.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Serve as a first point of contact for CRM and related business-process questions, clarifying requests, providing guidance, resolving issues where possible, and documenting outcomes.

Handle operational requests such as data loads and validation, exports, survey setup, territory, user and product setup support, key message operations, and batch invalidation.

Follow approved procedures, templates, and quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent execution.

Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and suggest lasting fixes or process improvements.

Prepare clear communications for the CRM Community during broad CRM issues or outages, coordinating with the appropriate teams.

Support the onboarding of new Business Analyst (BA) users and gradually take ownership of the onboarding process.

Keep how-to guides, procedures, training and reference documents up to date and aligned with release guidance.

Use approved automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve efficiency and consistency.

Contribute to self-service resources, reusable documentation, process improvements, and team projects when service workload allows.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
