What you’ll bring
A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree with an academic background in Life Sciences.
Fluent or native-level Portuguese.
Strong professional English, particularly for reading, interpreting and summarising scientific literature.
The ability to search, interpret and summarise scientific literature and clinical evidence, and to write clear, accurately referenced summaries, presentations or training resources.
Scientific rigour, attention to detail and respect for compliance and scientific integrity when working with regulated content.
Strong organisation, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
Curious nature and can-do attitude.

What you’ll do
You will contribute to cardiometabolic Medical Affairs priorities, with a focus on launch readiness. All materials follow Novo’s review and approval processes, and final scientific accountability stays with Medical, Regulatory and compliance colleagues.
Coordinate launch-readiness and scientific-material trackers, and support the execution of launch plans.
Prepare literature reviews, evidence summaries, congress reports and periodic scientific updates.
Draft scientific response documents, FAQs and content briefs for medical review, and keep Medical Information repositories current, traceable and version controlled.
Co-own medical affairs activities.
Develop internal training materials and scientific presentations and adapt approved evidence into consumer-facing educational content.
Support digital medical engagement, from content planning and deployment to performance monitoring.
Turn recurring scientific questions, engagement data and evidence gaps into insights, and suggest ways to make scientific knowledge easier to find and reuse.
Who you’ll work with
In International Operations, colleagues work across markets to serve people around the world and help improve health at scale. You will join Medical & Regulatory in Portugal.
Your closest partners will be Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Safety, Quality, Marketing, Sales and Communication/Corporate Affairs, alongside launch teams and subject-matter experts. Where needed, and under supervision, you will also work with external scientific, content, digital and event partners. How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
