The Associate Director, Sales Training - Hematology/Oncology is responsible for the strategic design, delivery, and continuous evolution of training programs that drive commercial excellence for the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms sales team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Oncology Training Lead, this individual develops and executes a comprehensive training curriculum that ensures the sales team is equipped with deep product knowledge, disease state expertise, and a thorough understanding of the marketing landscape and competitive environment. The Associate Director, Sales Training - Hematology/Oncology brings strong facilitation and communication skills to every interaction, creating learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and directly connected to field performance. They assess training effectiveness and evolve training programs to meet the changing demands of the marketplace, field dynamics, and business priorities. Through a commitment to coaching, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this role plays a critical part in driving sales force effectiveness and advancing the overall success of the commercial organization. Responsibilities: · Develop training materials and learning experiences that are scientifically accurate, commercially relevant, and compliant with MLR standards. · Design, develop and deliver training curriculum and content which may include disease state, clinical, strategic and/or skill- based training. · Lead development, coordination, and facilitation of training programs such as new hire classes, virtual workshops, National Meeting workshops, learning modules, Launch training and other training. · Manage vendors when designing and developing training content. · Develop and institute specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities. · Facilitate classroom environment in a manner that allows for adult learning and clinical/sales proficiency. · Coach and provide feedback to representatives during training sessions. · Independently Design, execute and facilitate National/Regional Sales Meeting training workshops. · Manage training projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process. · Facilitate live and virtual training sessions of varied sizes. · Strategically partner with cross functional teams (Marketing, Field Sales Management, Sales Operations, Medical, etc.) to build and provide training to support corporate strategy. · Act as a valued resource and strategic partner for the field force by actively participating in all sales meetings and routine field rides. Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree required · 5 years successful sales experience in hematology/oncology is preferred · 3-5 years of training experience or equivalent experience required · Ability to effectively lead without authority. · High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a team environment. · High clinical affinity and ability to master new clinical areas. · Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast paced, changing environment. · Ability to excel in a cross functional and matrix environment. · High degree of problem-solving skills. · Demonstrated strategic thinking and creativity in the design of training programs. · Exceptional presentation/facilitation skills and written communication skills to varying management levels. · Experience navigating the MLR review process and ensuring compliance with industry standards. · Ability to self-motivate, independently perform and demonstrate leadership skills. · Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism. · Willingness to travel up to 25%+ of the time.
