Job Description:
The Associate Director, Business Integrated Insights, Neuroscience serves as a strategic partner to the Neuroscience Business Unit and Brand Teams by generating customer, market, and product insights derived from primary market research, secondary data analytics, and competitive intelligence. This position will report to the Director, Integrated Insights, Neuroscience.
The person in this role will identify, prioritize, execute, and present the analyses and corresponding insights needed to make strategic decisions that improve the performance of aligned brands. The role will also measure brand performance, support brand planning, and act as a key stakeholder in developing and executing brand strategy.
This is a critical role in helping the Integrated Insights team to deliver on its mission to provide not only facts and data, but insights and implications that drive growth. This role will directly contribute to the performance of the inline business and pre-launch activities for Dysport and represent the voices of our stakeholders (patients and HCPs) in making critical business decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work across a brand at different lifecycle stages and actively participate in a potential launch.
WHAT - Main Responsibilities
Define and manage scope of work and budget for primary market research and CI
Track the Neuroscience learning agenda to ensure research and analytics needs are executed in a timely manner
Lead projects and coordinate project logistics, timelines, research materials development, and deliverable creation
Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative and qualitative information
Collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders to process and prioritize new insights and analytics requests, and provide feedback on vendor performance
Participate as a key thought partner to the brand team by challenging assumptions and identifying key risks and opportunities
Collaborate closely with the Integrated Insights team and cross-functional partners across the brand and business
Develop and maintain a market intelligence repository to serve as a single source of truth for the Neuroscience team

Ability to anticipate internal and external business challenges and recommend process, product, or service improvements
High degree of creativity and innovation in developing new approaches, processes, and methodologies
Clear understanding of the changing healthcare marketplace
Ability to effectively perform all functions in adherence with legal, compliance, and regulatory guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry
Ability to contribute to the development of functional strategy to assist business areas in defining their information strategy
Experience in leading cross functional, matrixed project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, public relations, facilitation, management, decision making, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a hybrid structure, including working from our Cambridge, MA office multiple days per week
How - Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
Minimum 8+ years of pharmaceutical and/or life sciences experience,
At least 3 years of client-side (or in-house) experience in data analytics / forecasting, primary market research, and/or competitive intelligence
Demonstrated success using research to drive insights and strategic implications that lead to business decisions
Thorough understanding of the commercialization of biopharmaceuticals, including brand management, sales planning and execution, market access, and regulatory environments
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
Experience in Neuroscience is a plus, ideally in movement disorders, and/or migraine
Mix of Life Sciences/BioPharma consulting and in-house experience would be a plus
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required
MBA or MS in Business Analytics or other quantitative field is a plus
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $153,000 - $215,000
This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program. The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
