Join the Metrology & Inspection business unit - fast-growing leader in semiconductor metrology and inspection technologies - and be part of our growth by joining our application team as Field Application Engineer (FAE).
We are looking for a motivated talent to support our regional team and take on new challenges together. If you're eager to learn, innovate, and actively contribute to our projects, this opportunity is for you!
You Role:
A FAE will be responsible for the proper testing of each product on the customer site. He secures the proper execution of the Final Acceptance Test (FAT) plan for each new tool and therefore guarantees the quality of products. Once the FAT is achieved, he will continue to work in collaboration with the customer to facilitate the integration of the tool into the manufacturing line and be missioned to identify new business opportunities.
- Executing FAT plans (measurements, data analysis and result dissemination) while respecting key deadlines to guarantee that each new tool complies with well-defined performance specifications.
- Train the customer and employees.
- Closely collaborating with the application team and customers to identify new use cases
- Testing new solutions and related software / hardware release.
- Helping to improve the documentation
- Working with the Field Service Engineer team and engineering team on continuous improvement programs to enhance the product quality.
- Documenting any non-conformity detected at customer site
Who You Are:
- Engineer (BSC, MS) plus 3 years in Semiconductor Industry with strong knowledge in semiconductor processes & statistical analysis.
- Basic knowledge of Physics of Interferometry, Reflectometry, Defectivity and optics.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in autonomy and meet scheduled deliverables.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
- Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Fluent in English
- Occasional international travel is required
