What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will interact with healthcare decision makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s corporate goals and objectives.
Be a field-based medical expert supporting the cross-functional medical educational activities aligned with internal and external partners
Provide accurate, clear and value related information communicating complex groundbreaking science and product information to multiple levels of partners within the medical community
Align with MSL/Medical leadership to develop innovative and nontraditional MSL strategies and tactics in support of the TA products and pipeline molecules
Model openness and innovation through words, actions and decisions
Share findings including ambitious and innovative ideas with others and hold themselves self-accountable for performance
Provide field observations to internal medical partners
Represent Amgen by supporting advisory boards, congresses and professional association meetings as directed
Serve as the field-based medical expert for this territory in the MSL group within the medical organization.
Communicate accurate, clear, and valued information regarding our science and products to multiple levels within the medical community and report field observations to internal collaborators.
Support scientific engagement plan (SEP) in developing local territory R&D tactics.
Provide and/or present field observations and insights to internal partners.
Implement a scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metrics.
Develop and implement local OL plans in line with the scientific engagement plan.
Support speaker training as requested and ensure the speakers are updated on new data
Compliantly collaborate with cross-functional colleagues. May serve as the main point of contact
Advance MSL value proposition, identify gaps, achieve results, and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen values and leadership attributes
Demonstrate tact and professionalism when communicating and interacting with individuals.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of MSL experience
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in the Oncology, Hematology and/or Bone therapeutic space
5 or more years industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
5 or more years in a medically-related field
