Purpose:

The Director, Commercial AI Products will lead AI-powered products that improve commercial customer engagement. These products will help teams make better decisions, prioritize the right customers, personalize engagement, and measure impact. This role combines AI product leadership, advanced analytics, and execution. The leader will turn data and emerging AI capabilities into practical tools that are trusted, adopted, and used in daily work. The ideal candidate can connect business needs to scalable AI solutions, ground product decisions in analytics, and lead teams that deliver value for customers, patients, and the business.

You will be responsible for:

Leading the strategy, development, and scaling of AI-powered commercial products in the US market, with a focus on customer engagement across digital media and field channels, business impact, and adoption by customer-facing teams.

Hire, coach, and develop strong data science, analytics, and AI product talent.

Bringing practical thought leadership on AI, machine learning, analytics, and product approaches that turn complex data into clear field decisions and actions.

Partner with sales, brand, media, medical, patient, technology, and vendor teams to design AI products that improve customer engagement and address real user needs.

Define and socialize success measures for AI products, including adoption, workflow impact, decision quality, customer experience, and business value.

Build a credo-based culture focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, employee development, retention, and high performance.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Education:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, or a related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in analytics, AI product development, management consulting, or a related field is required. Commercial experience is preferred .

Strong relationship-building, coaching, and employee development skills are required.

Experience leading diverse teams, managing large budgets, and driving change in a matrixed organization is required.

Ability to influence at all levels and partner across a broad range of business and functional teams is required.

Ability to translate business questions and field needs into AI products using advanced analytics , natural language processing, large language models, and AI agents is required .

Knowledge of machine learning and statistical methods, including  model selection, hypothesis testing, statistical inference, supervised and unsupervised learning, and promotional response modeling, is required.

Product mindset, strong communication skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence and partner across the organization are required.

Experience shaping AI or analytics products from idea to adoption, including user discovery, prioritization, roadmap planning, change management, and value measurement, is preferred.

Knowledge of pharma and specialty pharmacy data, including real-world evidence, patient-level data, and sales data, is preferred.

Pharmaceutical experience is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $164,000 and $282,900 USD.
