Role overview
Responsible for achieving pharmaceutical product sales to new and established hospital accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. This job is eligible for sales incentives / sales commissions.
General roles & responsibilities
Builds a plan to achieve objectives for Janssen products through sales and servicing of all hospital accounts in a prescribed territory.
Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentation to customers. Initiates contact and schedules appointments with potential new customers.
Makes regular visits to customer locations to collect information on orders and market conditions.
Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.
Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure a timely resolution.
Relays relevant market information to management. Identifies potential impacts to business.
Recommend areas for future growth.
Prepares sales reports and documents as required. Provide input to sales forecast.
Role requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales and providing solutions based on customer need.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in establishing relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
Excellent organizational skills.
Capability to thrive in a driven environment.
Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
