Inhouse Consulting (IC) APAC is recruiting high-performing Associates to join our team. As IC Associates, you will be part of our broader GoGlobal Graduate Program (GGP), our leadership development track for high potential early career professionals. This job opening is focused on candidates with a strong interest in Data & AI.
Inhouse Consulting is an internal management consulting group function working exclusively for all functions and sectors. IC projects span topics like Strategy & Execution, Processes & Efficiency, Integration, Innovation & Business Development, R&D, Organization Development and PMO across all Divisions. Our team of 75 consultants works globally. The IC Head Office is at the HQ in Darmstadt, Germany, with Americas office in the Boston area, USA and an Asia-Pacific (APAC) office in Singapore.
The IC Associate, GoGlobal Graduate Program is the company’s career accelerator for high potential professionals who are early in their careers. During the 24-month program, Associates will work on management-consulting projects and experience functional secondments (Stations) across our Healthcare, Life Science and Electronics businesses. Associates may be placed overseas for up to 6 months through the course of the program.
Associates will be developed through targeted professional training and our internal coaching program to continuously improve their business and technical skills. There is a high degree of on-the-job learning through working with experienced consultants on consulting projects, and high visibility across all management levels. Following successful completion of the program, Associates will transition to challenging and exciting positions across the company.
Key responsibilities
Support client projects together with other consultants from strategy to execution, delivering high impact for the company
Drive projects independently on Stations (from 2 nd year), collaborating with Station managers to execute functional priorities
Work closely with the rest of the IC team to elevate IC capabilities, develop IC client networks and improve collaboration
About You
Master's degree in Business (Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management etc.) or Data & AI field (Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc.). MBA is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in biological and chemical sciences or equivalent (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering etc.)
2-4 years of corporate experience in a regional or global role in a global MNC / consulting experience from a leading management consultancy with experience in Data & AI
Informal / pro-bono consulting and consulting club experience will also be considered favorably
Technologically-savvy, ready to develop and/or harness Data & AI skills to increase productivity and maximize value for the company
Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills to structure project activities, perform in-depth analysis, and challenge thinking
Builds and maintains strong relationships with colleagues across the company
Exhibits high cultural adaptability through having worked and lived across international markets (especially western) beyond your home country
Displays a growth mindset and maturity with a desire to develop professionally, collaborate with others and communicate openly
Eager to travel to our international markets, including Darmstadt, Germany, for up to 6 months
Fluent in English and an additional language
