Your role
As a member of the Operations Technology (OT) unit, you will be responsible for the technical support, troubleshooting, design, development and commissioning of the automated systems controlling our pharmaceutical manufacturing site
You will receive training on the biotechnological manufacturing process and will quickly become autonomous in the position’s main responsibilities.
Your activities will include providing support to Production, conducting technical investigations, delivering challenging projects and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work in an organized and flexible manner, with a varied range of daily responsibilities.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments, including Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality Assurance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Once you have completed your training, you will join an on-call service for a few days each month.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of automated systems supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Your profile
University degree in Automation Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
At least five years of experience in industrial automation.
Proven experience with and strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), particularly Yokogawa CENTUM VP and Emerson DeltaV.
Good knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, industrial computer systems and fieldbus technologies, including Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus and Profinet.
Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation, actuators and variable-speed drives (VSDs).
Basic knowledge of Ethernet TCP/IP communication.
Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, combined with flexibility, rigor, autonomy and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of process automation systems, including Siemens S7 hardware, software and troubleshooting, AVEVA System Platform Galaxy and AVEVA Batch, is an asset; experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is highly desirable.
