STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Warehouse Operator (Level 2)

Huddersfield |U.K.| Full-time | Permanent | Rotating Day Shifts

As a Warehouse Operator 2, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our manufacturing operation running to plan, and our customers supplied on time, every time.

Stepping beyond a standard operator role, you’ll take ownership for the smooth flow of materials across the site: making sure filling lines have the right components at the right moment, returning finished products to the warehouse, and preparing them for secure, compliant shipment to customers. You’ll also be a key player in our inbound supply chain, receiving materials from suppliers, using SAP to control stock movements, and maintaining rigorous adherence to processes, procedures and GMP standards.

If you’re ready for the next step in your warehouse career, more responsibility, greater impact, and a central role in our manufacturing performance, this is where you’ll make it.

How You Will Make an Impact

Own the flow of finished goods from manufacturing through to safe, compliant transport to our 3PL storage facility

Operate a range of material handling equipment (MHE) / forklift trucks to confidently load and unload vehicles with finished goods, raw materials and components

Manage inbound materials: confirm delivery accuracy, book goods into SAP, put stock away safely, and pick orders for production

Prepare and control materials going into GMP areas, working closely with the Manufacturing Team to keep lines running to plan

Maintain strong stock control through regular stock taking and investigations, ensuring issues are identified and resolved

Support the wider warehouse team by banking vehicles safely, processing returns from Manufacturing, and helping to train new team members

Physical and operational requirements of the role include: Regular manual handling of items as part of daily work

Operating warehouse machinery and equipment

Regularly accessing vehicles (e.g. getting on and off trucks and working in and around vehicles)

Performing these tasks safely in line with company procedures; reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate

Working rotational day shift pattern: Mon-Thu 0600-1336 / 1330-2200

Fri: 0600-1336 / 1330-1730

What We Are Looking For

Demonstrable experience in warehousing

A current licence/ card in at least one of the following MHE: counterbalance trucks, flexi truck, powered pallet truck (PPT), scissor lifts

Experience using warehouse barcode scanners (advantageous)

How this role compares

Computed from every other active role in our database, not just this employer's listings.

We don't have enough classified peer data for this role yet, so there's no comparison to show. This happens when a posting's title/category doesn't match any taxonomy rule -- it's excluded rather than compared against the wrong peer group.
