As a Technology Support Intern | Mandarin Speaker (Open to All Majors - 6-Month Internship), you will play a key role in providing a seamless, friendly service experience for our regional teams. You do not need a specialized IT background to succeed in this role, if you are logically minded, comfortable using everyday technology, and passionate about helping people resolve day-to-day application and hardware issues, you will thrive here.

The Opportunity

Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries across multiple communication channels (phone, chat, email, and self-service portal).

Apply logical troubleshooting to help users resolve everyday software issues (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office, conferencing tools, local apps) and basic hardware questions (e.g., laptops, tablets, printers).

Manage the lifecycle of support tickets: logging issues, prioritizing requests, tracking progress, and providing clear status updates to end users.

Guide users on choosing the right standard software packages and assist with processing local hardware and access requests.

Collaborate with and dispatch unresolved, complex technical issues to Level 2 specialized teams.

Drive overall user satisfaction by providing patient, clear, and structured assistance.

Who You Are

You are currently pursuing or hold a Diploma or Degree in any field (Business, Communications, Arts, Science, IT, Engineering, etc.), no formal IT background is required.

You have strong logical reasoning, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills to systematically figure out basic technical issues.

You are fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with regional counterparts.

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.

You are comfortable and confident using standard software and devices (e.g., Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, smart devices).

Prior exposure to ITIL concepts or ticketing systems is a plus, but not essential.

You are available for a 6-month internship.

How this role compares

Computed from every other active Other / Corporate Functions role in our database, not just this employer's listings.

We don't have enough classified peer data for this role yet, so there's no comparison to show. This happens when a posting's title/category doesn't match any taxonomy rule -- it's excluded rather than compared against the wrong peer group.
