Job Responsibility:

Execute maintenance tasks and carry out projects in process equipment and utilities systems in the Fermentation, Purification, Laboratories, Warehouse, and Utilities areas. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, following standard procedures and job plans on process equipment such as: pumps, compressors, valves, process piping, tanks, rotary, mechanical seals, transmissions, agitators, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems, among others.  Maintain process and utilities equipment in optimum operational conditions using corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance programs. When required, analyze, evaluate and diagnostic equipment failure using appropriate tools. Document following cGMP and data integrity requirements.

Requirements

Associate degree such as Technology in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Mechanics

Experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment operations in general, is preferred.

Basic communication in English and Spanish

Read and interpret specifications, drawings, procedures in both English and Spanish

Teamwork oriented

Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Candidate must have a strong compliance (safety, environmental and quality) mindset and sound judgement

Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under minimal supervision

Available to support a 7/24 operations in rotating shifts

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$15.21 - $28.03

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
