The Position
As a Team Lead in Reagent Development, you will empower and guide a high-performing team in driving the "Human Pillar" of our organisation, fostering capability resilience and individual growth. You will serve as the primary sponsor for best practices within your subchapter, bridging the gap between strategic talent development and critical project needs. Join us to nurture an environment of continuous learning, empathy, and scientific excellence where your leadership directly enables groundbreaking healthcare solutions.
The Opportunity
Lead and empower: Act as the primary people leader for your subchapter, driving employee growth, career roadmapping, and functional capability development.
Drive performance and feedback: Oversee employee goal setting (MbO) in Workday, conduct bi-annual performance reviews, and gather 360-degree feedback from peers and matrix stakeholders.
Establish operating rhythms: Nurture a culture of open communication through mandatory biweekly 1:1 check-ins and monthly Team Syncs focused on capacity, team updates, and culture.
Manage capacity and resolve conflict: Serve as the primary point of contact for subchapter friction, using empathy and Triad Meetings (Employee–Manager–Project Lead) to balance portfolio loads and support high morale.
Oversee operational logistics: Manage subchapter logistics, including final approval for absences and early planning for long-term or parental leave.
Who you are
You hold an advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
You demonstrate a proven track record in people management, with demonstrated expertise in structured mentoring, career roadmapping, and driving talent development.
You possess high emotional intelligence, active listening skills, and experience navigating matrix organisation structures and resolving team friction.
You excel at building a culture of psychological safety while embedding regulatory and operational compliance into everyday workflows.
Experience with Workday for performance management is preferred.
We look forward to receiving your application!

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
