Role Summary

The Senior Manager, HEOR/RWE, Neurology is responsible for the development and execution of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) strategies supporting Servier's neurology portfolio, including pipeline and future marketed assets in Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD), Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), and other neuromuscular and neurological disorders.

This individual will partner closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and Global teams to design and execute evidence generation initiatives that demonstrate the clinical, economic, and humanistic value of Servier's therapies. The role will support asset teams through all phases of development, with particular emphasis on pipeline development, launch readiness, payer evidence generation, reimbursement support, and value communication.

The Senior Manager will contribute to the development of strategic evidence plans and lead execution of HEOR and RWE studies designed to address unmet evidence needs across patients, caregivers, providers, payers, and policy decision makers. Additionally, this position will play an important role in developing payer evidence packages, AMCP dossiers, value decks, publications, and evidence supporting innovative reimbursement and value-based contracting strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

Scientific Expertise: Serve as the primary HEOR/RWE subject matter expert (SME) for assigned neurology assets, including DMD, BMD, and pipeline programs.

Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Market Access teams to develop and execute integrated evidence generation plans.

Support HEOR strategy development across the product lifecycle from early clinical development through launch and lifecycle management.

Collaborate with clinical teams to incorporate patient-reported outcomes (PROs), clinical outcome assessments (COAs), and quality-of-life measures into development programs.

Provide scientific support for payer, reimbursement, and evidence communication activities

Evidence Generation and Project Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of evidence initiatives that inform access and clinical practice, partnering with Medical Directors and other cross-functional scientific collaborators.

Work with external vendors and internal teams to design and execute neurology evidence projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery while meeting ethical and scientific standards.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive external and internal pull-through and communication of HEOR strategy and evidence to internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional asset and governance teams, and external stakeholders.

In collaboration with the publications team, develop the RWE/HEOR publications plan and create materials in compliance with company, industry, and regulatory requirements.

Operational Execution and Impact Measurement:

In collaboration with the asset/indication HEOR lead, develop tactical plans for evidence generation initiatives.

Ensure cross-functional alignment and engagement throughout study execution.

Track and communicate project progress and budget management.

Ensure timely measurement and communication of the external and internal impact of HEOR evidence.

Education and Required Skills: 

Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MS) in Health Outcomes, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, or a related field, with relevant experience in neurology.

5+years of experience in HEOR or RWE within the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, with experience in HEOR/RWE strategy development and execution.

Strong project management capabilities and the ability to work in a matrix organization.

Effective in communicating research findings and able to translate these into actionable insights for diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Advanced technical expertise in HEOR/RWE study design and execution, and the ability to effectively communicate scientific data to varied audiences.

High emotional intelligence and ability to build consensus, inspire collaboration, and lead through influence

Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities

Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments and cultures

 

Travel and Location

Boston Based Hybrid role 2-3 days in office

15-20% Travel

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $205k - $247k. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
