Role Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of digital products within CTI-MD. This role is ideal for a product professional who combines strong product management fundamentals with hands-on technical expertise and can effectively bridge business, engineering, data, and operations teams.

The successful candidate will own products from discovery through delivery and adoption, partnering closely with scientists, business stakeholders, engineers, architects, data teams, and quality teams to solve complex business challenges within the pharmaceutical and life sciences domain.

This is a hands-on role. While the primary responsibility is product leadership, the individual should be comfortable reading code, writing prototypes, analysing data, developing proof-of-concepts, and contributing technically when necessary.

What You Will Do

Product Strategy & Ownership

Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a small to medium product, or for a major component of a larger CTI-MD product.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, and unmet needs.

Translate business objectives into clear product strategies, measurable outcomes, and prioritized roadmaps.

Define and track product success metrics and business value realized, demonstrating measurable improvement in key departmental KPIs.

Identify market and industry opportunities that inform product direction and business unit goals.

Product Discovery

Lead discovery activities including user research, workflow analysis, process mapping, and solution evaluation.

Develop deep understanding of business processes and operational workflows.

Validate assumptions through experimentation, data analysis, prototypes, and user feedback.

Technical Product Leadership

Work closely with engineering teams to shape technical solutions and architecture decisions.

Translate business requirements into detailed product and technical requirements.

Evaluate technology options, architectural trade-offs, integrations, scalability, and technical risks.

Drive data-driven, and platform-thinking approaches.

Delivery & Execution

Partner with engineering teams through design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Manage product backlogs and prioritization decisions.

Balance customer needs, business priorities, compliance requirements, and technical constraints.

Ensure products are delivered with quality, security, and operational excellence.

AI & Digital Innovation

Identify opportunities for AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies within CTI-MD products.

Drive adoption of modern engineering and AI-enabled product development practices.

Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential application to business challenges.

Team First Mentality

Bring a no-ego, team-first mindset to all interactions, prioritizing shared success over individual recognition.

Represent the product team with humility and integrity when engaging with stakeholders and partners.

Knowledge Sharing & Coaching

Share specialized product management practices and domain-specific insights to help team members grow.

Coach peers and engineering partners on discovery, prioritization, and outcome-based product practices.

Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships across business, scientific, regulatory, quality, and technology functions.

Present product strategy, roadmap updates, and outcome metrics to leadership.

Influence stakeholders across departments without formal authority, in global and cross-functional settings.

Make informed product decisions that balance business needs, technical constraints, and user value.

Your Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.

Experience

6+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Ownership, or related roles.

Experience leading software products through the full product lifecycle.

Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile environments.

Demonstrated success delivering business outcomes through digital products.

Technical Skills

Strong technical depth, with the ability to engage credibly in architecture and design discussions and to contribute hands-on when required.

Working knowledge of software engineering and system design fundamentals, including APIs, integrations, and scalability trade-offs.

Experience with cloud and data platforms.

Practical understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI concepts and how they apply to enterprise products.

Familiarity with modern SDLC and DevOps practices, and with security, privacy, and compliance considerations in regulated environments.

Read and reason about production code well enough to partner effectively with engineers on technical issues.

Build prototypes, proofs-of-concept, scripts, or automations to test ideas and de-risk decisions.

What You Should Bring

Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Clinical Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, or R&D domains.

Understanding of GxP, validation, data integrity, and regulated environments.

Experience working with scientific, clinical, manufacturing, or laboratory systems.

Experience with AI-enabled products, data products, or enterprise platforms.

MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
