Site General Manager, TGO Canada

Teva is looking for an exceptional Site General Manager to lead all operations across our Canadian manufacturing sites. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a high‑impact operation and guide it through the next chapter of excellence, modernization, and growth.

As the senior-most leader on site, you will set the vision, build the culture, and drive performance across EHS, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People. You will translate global strategy into a clear, actionable roadmap that ensures compliant supply, operational excellence, and long‑term competitiveness.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

Site Leadership & Strategy

Shape and communicate a compelling site mission aligned with TGO and Cluster strategy.

Build and empower a high‑performing Site Leadership Team.

Drive accountability, transparency, and operational discipline across all levels.

Represent the site in global forums and lead proactive risk management.

Customer Service & Supply Reliability

Lead a best‑in‑class S&OP process to align demand, supply, capacity, and inventory.

Ensure reliable manufacturing, quality release, and distribution.

Deliver flawless product launches, transfers, and supply continuity.

Strengthen project execution and contingency planning.

Quality, Compliance & Inspection Readiness

Champion a proactive quality culture that meets all regulatory and Teva standards.

Maintain inspection readiness and close compliance gaps with sustainable solutions.

Drive ownership of EHS and quality across all functions.

Financial & Operational Performance

Own the site’s AOP, forecasts, and long‑term financial planning.

Ensure accurate, transparent reporting and proactive adjustments.

Benchmark performance and drive cost competitiveness.

Talent, Culture & Organizational Development

Build future‑ready technical and leadership capabilities.

Strengthen succession planning and talent pipelines.

Embed Teva Leadership Principles into daily routines and expectations.

Continuous Improvement & TLMS Excellence

Serve as a visible champion of TLMS (Teva Lean Management System).

Lead a multi‑year roadmap focused on productivity, quality, supply, and cost.

Build problem‑solving and performance‑management capability across the site.

Share and adopt best practices across the global network.

Your Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Business, or related field. Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, Engineering, or related).

15+ years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical operations.

Deep expertise in cGMP, validation, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Proven ability to lead complex site operations and deliver results in a highly regulated environment.

Strong communication, decision‑making, and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Experience with new technology implementation, product launches/transfers, and organizational capability building.

Frequent travel between Canadian sites (approx. 30 km apart).

Leadership presence across multiple shifts (24/7 operation).

Ability to respond to urgent business, quality, or safety issues outside normal hours.
