The Role:
MEGASYS® specializes in managing gases, chemicals, and slurries, providing essential on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
As the MEGASYS® Site Director, you will lead and direct the on-site MEGASYS® operation team, ensuring effective management and operational excellence. This role involves close collaboration with customers to guarantee that their service needs are met and adequately supported, fostering a safe and efficient operational environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other sites, participate in off-site meetings, and engage in occasional travel for training and strategic initiatives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our operations and enhancing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishes and cascades teams goals and objectives for overall site operations.
Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Acts as primary interface between customer and EMD Electronics for all site wide business issues.
Manages all on-site services escalations with customer.
Collaborates with Customer on operational improvements.
Shares all Safety and quality data with customer driving operational improvements.
Delegating tasks and set deadlines for your internal team.
Accountable for appropriate staffing levels, training, and support of site activities.
Prioritizes resources and site initiatives that align with organizational and customer goals.
Supports MEGASYS® and customer base during excursions, post event root cause analysis, etc.
Responsible for the development of the site operation and leadership team.
Develops and monitors key performance indicators across the site.
Negotiate any changes to the TCGM operating agreement, including operational changes, modifications to scope of work, and fees for service.
The MEGASYS® Site Director, role is an on-site position located in Leixip with 10% travel required to meet business needs.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or a related technical field, with 7+ years of experience in chemical operations or manufacturing, demonstrating progressive responsibility; or 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience in managing a small to medium sized team direct or in-directly or 5 people or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong preference for semiconductor industry experience.
Background in customer management as a service provider.
Proven track record in issue resolution and customer prioritization.
Ability to lead teams in meeting safety, health, and environmental standards.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO quality systems required.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
Strong presentation skills, able to communicate clearly to customers and executives.
Proficient in business software, particularly Microsoft Office; capable of learning company-specific systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and experienced with labor models and ERP systems.
Experience in implementing solutions for cost reduction and continuous improvement.
Willingness to travel, including overnight and potential international trips, with approximately 10% travel expected.
