The opportunity

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will shape and execute market strategies in the pharmaceutical sector. You will drive B2B business development and key account management to ensure market penetration and commercial success.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

- Collaborate with the Cluster Head and cross-functional teams on market strategies, lifecycle management, and market entry

- Lead efforts to achieve commercial targets and manage key accounts

- Provide market, customer, and competitive insights

- Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and launch products

- Develop portfolio strategies to increase market share

- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met

Additional Duties

- Analyze and prioritize market opportunities with the Cluster Head

- Identify profitable portfolios and close sales gaps through partnerships

- Monitor market trends and update cluster strategy

- Manage daily cluster operations to achieve KPIs

- Negotiate offers and manage customer agreements

- Provide pricing intelligence and margin improvement plans

- Manage disputes, settlements, and special projects

Your Experiences and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or related field

- Minimum 8 years of commercial experience

- Strong background in contract negotiation and regulatory compliance

- Experience in regulatory or legal/IP matters is an advantage

- Fluent written and spoken English

- Strong leadership and commercial focus

- High numeracy and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to execute commercial strategies

- Ability to perform under pressure

- Strong project management capability

- Deep understanding of the generic pharmaceutical industry
