Our Team, Your Impact

The Senior Director, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a senior leader within the ExM Strategic Operational Unit, accountable for the end-to-end performance, governance, resilience and strategic development of an assigned portfolio of critical external manufacturing partners.

The role operates as the business owner and virtual plant leader for the portfolio, integrating Supply Chain, Quality, MS&T, Procurement, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, Business Development and R&D to secure reliable supply, maintain compliance, improve cost and service performance, and enable sustainable growth. This role will be expected to lead a larger than usual cross-functional supplier relationship team given the increased scope, size, complexity and criticality of the allocated portfolio.

The incumbent will establish trusted, executive-level relationships with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs/CDMOs), convert enterprise priorities into supplier-specific strategies and operating plans, and lead resolution of complex supply, quality, technical, contractual and commercial issues. Given the increased criticality of the deliverables, the role is expected to balance near-term operational delivery with longer-term network, capacity, risk and value-creation priorities.

This position may include direct people leadership. Pending final organization design, the incumbent must be capable of leading and developing direct reports while continuing to lead broad cross-functional teams through influence in a global matrix.

*This role will be hybrid onsite at our Parsippany, NJ office*

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
