About the Role:

As Senior Director of Oncology Medical Affairs at BioNTech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing medical strategies that advance our oncology portfolio. Your Contribution:

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive medical affairs strategies for our oncology portfolio

Provide expert medical and scientific guidance to cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, commercial, and market access

Develop impactful medical education programs and materials tailored for healthcare providers

Represent BioNTech as a key medical spokesperson for our oncology portfolio

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups in oncology

Collaborate on clinical development plans and study protocols to ensure alignment with medical needs

A Good Match:

Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)

Proven experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (minimum 10 years), including successful oncology commercial launches

Expertise in oncology with strong familiarity with current treatment landscapes; experience in Endometrial/Breast cancers or Lung/GI oncology indications is highly preferred

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills paired with strong leadership abilities

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively while fostering cross-functional collaboration

Experience in developing educational programs and publications such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts

Your benefits and remuneration:

Expected Pay Range: $320,000/year to $379.000/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity (bonus and equity is variable and dependent on company and individual performance). Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
