About this opportunity

Use AI to change how Orifarm’s commercial teams analyze, report and decide. We are looking for a senior insights professional who builds it, proves it and brings colleagues along

About the job

In this role, you will drive the change in how we work with data and insight; first in our own reporting and analysis, then across the commercial organization, together with colleagues in the markets, Finance and IT. We are looking for someone with natural curiosity who knows how to use modern technology to turn data into business insights, in a streamlined way, across the commercial organization.

You will:

Lead the commercial transformation of our reporting and analysis (monthly market and commercial reporting, portfolio reviews, ad hoc requests) with AI: not just faster, but fundamentally better and less manual

Build practical AI workflows and assistants, using approved tools such as Claude and Copilot, that work across multiple, large datasets, e.g. internal sales, profitability, market, CRM and pricing data, in close collaboration with the AI Office

Accelerate the use of AI across the commercial organization, turning enterprise AI capabilities and principles into business value

Define the commercial data and insight requirements needed to make AI use cases successful, working with the AI Office, IT, Finance and data owners on the appropriate data foundation

Apply Orifarm’s AI governance and quality guardrails to commercial use cases, including validation and appropriate human review of AI-supported management output

You will report to the Director of Commercial Excellence & Insights and become part of the Market Insights & Support team, working closely with the commercial leadership and our AI office. This is a senior individual contributor role, based in Odense or Copenhagen, with a hybrid work model.

Who are you?

You are a commercially minded professional with 5+ years of experience in business analysis, commercial insights, reporting or business transformation. You understand how to turn complex data into clear recommendations that support decisions and improve commercial performance. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is not required, as we can teach you the industry.

You are confident working with multiple, large datasets and tools such as Excel and Power BI, and you know AI’s limits well enough to validate its output. You use generative AI as a practical business tool to strengthen analysis, simplify workflows and improve the quality of insights, and you can show examples of where it has changed real work. You work within Orifarm’s approved tools and data-security guidelines and collaborate closely with Finance, IT and other specialists

Equally important, you are a strong communicator and change facilitator. You explain complex topics simply, build trust quickly and help colleagues, including senior stakeholders, adopt new ways of working. You are pragmatic, curious and quality-minded, with sound commercial judgement. You know when human review is essential, and you are not afraid to say “not yet” when the output is not good enough.

You are fluent in English. Danish is not required.

Who are we?

You will join a small, close team that supports the commercial organization with insight, data and systems, and sits right next to the commercial leadership team, so your work is seen and used. We are six colleagues including you, working closely together in a direct, hands-on and informal way. Orifarm has a flat structure and short paths to decision-makers.

Why should you join Orifarm?

At Orifarm, we are 2,300 employees united by a shared purpose: improving access to affordable medicine for the people who need it. Founded in Odense, Denmark in 1994 by Birgitte & Hans Bøgh-Sørensen, we have built our business on challenging conventional thinking to make affordable high-quality pharmaceuticals more accessible across Europe. Rather than developing new medicines, we focus on finding smarter ways to bring existing treatments to patients, creating value for pharmacies, healthcare systems, and society.

We live by the mindset Challenge Accepted . It reflects our explorer spirit and can-do attitude, where challenges are perceived as opportunities. We encourage people to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and take ownership. Across teams, functions, and markets, you will find a collaborative and supportive culture built on trust, respect, and a flat hierarchy where everyone has a voice and direct access to decision-makers.

When you join Orifarm, you will be empowered to make a real impact from day one. We offer autonomy and great opportunities for career advancement, enabling our employees to shape their professional development. We value flexibility and provide a hybrid work model with the possibility of working from home two days a week.

We invite you to join Orifarm, if you are curious, ambitious, and accept the challenge of making affordable medicine accessible.

We encourage everyone to apply

At Orifarm, we welcome people from all backgrounds, recognizing that the best outcomes come from a diverse and inclusive work environment. Our commitment is to create an environment where different perspectives and skills drive innovation and contribute to a sustainable future. How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
