JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Lead, Other Gulf is accountable for market-level customer-facing execution and delivery of revenue, profitability, and commercial objectives across the Gulf, with an indicative combined business scope of approximately US$100 million. Based in Dubai, reporting to the ME Cluster Lead, and serving as a member of the Middle East Leadership Team, the role provides integrated leadership across two distinct healthcare markets.
The role owns country sales planning, forecasting, customer and institutional execution, sales-force productivity, territory and coverage design, performance management, field capability development, and launch execution across both markets. Category Leads own portfolio and brand strategy; the Sales Lead owns market-level customer-facing execution and sales delivery, adapting implementation to each market’s access, tender, regulatory, distributor, and operating environment.
The Sales Lead partners closely with Medical, Health & Value, Commercial Excellence, PH&E, Regulatory, Supply, Finance, PX, Legal, and Compliance to balance market priorities, optimize resources, deliver sustainable growth, and strengthen customer and patient impact. The role builds high-performing, connected teams across the Gulf and ensures disciplined governance, risk management, and compliance in both markets.
Business and financial delivery: Own Gulf countries revenue, operating-plan delivery, forecast accuracy, risks and opportunities, and disciplined deployment of commercial investment.
Multi-market execution: Translate Middle East and category priorities into differentiated country sales plans, territory strategies, institutional and customer plans, launch plans, and field execution standards for each market.
Sales-force effectiveness: Balance priorities and optimize territory and coverage design, targeting, capacity, call planning, resource allocation, and sales-force productivity across the Gulf.
Performance leadership: Set common and market-specific objectives and KPIs; lead rigorous business and performance reviews; use data to identify gaps; and ensure timely coaching, recognition, corrective action, and follow-through.
Customer, institutional, and channel strategy: Build deep understanding of customer needs, institutional priorities, tenders, healthcare-system dynamics, competition, access pathways, policy developments, distributor performance, and regulatory requirements in both markets.
Portfolio and launch partnership: Partner with Category Leads, who own portfolio and brand strategy, while owning market-level customer-facing execution, launch readiness, demand generation, tender and account priorities, and sales delivery.
Go-to-market evolution: Embed approved digital tools, omnichannel engagement, and new ways of working that improve customer experience, field impact, and productivity.
undefined
Distributor and channel governance: Maintain clear accountabilities, execution standards, performance monitoring, and compliant operations with distributor and channel partners where applicable.
Enterprise leadership: Contribute actively to Middle East Leadership Team decisions, operating plans, forecasts, resource choices, risk reviews, and cross-market priorities.
Talent and culture: Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing talent; strengthen manager capability; maintain succession plans; and create one connected team across geographically dispersed markets.
Governance and compliance: Manage resources with strong operational discipline and ensure full compliance with Pfizer policies, local laws, industry codes, and external regulations in the Gulf countries.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
