At the heart of BioMarin is a dedicated team of the brightest minds in the industry working together to deliver innovative therapies to patients and families around the world. <br /><br />About Technical Operations <br /><br />BioMarin’s Technical Operations group is responsible for creating our drugs for use in clinical trials and for scaling production of those drugs for the commercial market. These engineers, technicians, scientists and support staff build and maintain BioMarin’s cutting-edge manufacturing processes and sites, provide quality assurance and quality control to ensure we meet regulatory standards, and procure the needed goods and services to support manufacturing and coordinating the worldwide movement of our drugs to patients. <br /><br /></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">This role is required for 12 months to support lab expansion and we don't have expertise in 6S in the team. </span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">The role would provide dedicated ownership for implementing and sustaining 6S across laboratories areas. Key accountabilities would include programme coordination, workplace assessments, visual standards, audits, action tracking, training, coaching and performance reporting.</span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">The position is proposed as an individual-contributor role .  The preferred candidate would have experience in a regulated operational environment, practical 5S or 6S knowledge and strong change-management and facilitation skills.</span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">The role would help strengthen safety, improve workplace organisation and operational flow, and ensure that 6S becomes embedded in daily working practices.</span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">Please find the proposed job description below for review.</span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><b><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">The Operational Excellence 6S Specialist will lead and support the implementation, standardisation and ongoing sustainability of 6S across BCoE laboratories.</span></b><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;"> </span></p><p style="line-height: 15.0pt;"><b><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;color: black;">6S builds upon the principles of Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain, with Safety integrated throughout.
