Job Description: Operational Unit - Country Medical Services Representative

The Position

The Country Medical Services Representative collaborates with the Operational Unit Lead and or Operational Unit Sub-Lead to ensure efficient implementation for Medical Services activities covering medical review, DPOC, medical information and other medical affairs processes in the country or countries under responsibility.

This position reports into the Medical Services Operational Unit Lead and or Medical Services Operational Unit Sub-Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, global and local SOPs, and applicable local regulations across all medical services activities.

• Implement and sustain core medical services processes, including:

Medical Review in line with Medical Review Lead guidance, global and local SOPs, and country regulatory requirements.

DPOC and Medical Information, ensuring consistent delivery to the highest quality and compliance standard.

Translation and Localization Processes, including the translation of SRDs and other relevant medical materials, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance.

Educational Medical Events support and readiness, including medical content review, process coordination, and compliance preparedness for country-level educational activities.

Partner with the Operational Unit Lead to:

Perform Medical Review, DPOC, Medical Information, and Educational Medical Events support for the assigned country when required, in line with the resource allocation model.

Ensure appropriate vendor onboarding, oversight, and performance monitoring.

Develop and maintain procedural documentation, including drafting and updating procedural guidance, SOPs, and process flowcharts as needed.

Monitor performance and quality by analyzing insights, dashboards, and KPIs, and proactively proposing corrective and continuous improvement actions.

Maintain audit readiness by ensuring accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation at all times.

Identify and articulate insights based on local medical information requests and customer insights.

Identification and escalation of SRD need to TA sub-lead.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, Other Life Sciences related Degree).

At least three years of experience in medical services, medical information, medical review, a related field within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Experience with Medical and Legal Review (MLR), medical information processes and supporting systems.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented cross functional structure.

Demonstrated scientific writing/verbal communication skills.

Proven ability for solid networking, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Organizational and prioritization skills.

Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills (solution-driven).

Must be able to work in a complex organization environment and have ability to effectively operate in a global and team-oriented structure.
