About this opportunity

Job Summary

The Medical Content Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of medical content across priority therapeutic areas, ensuring that medical slide decks, scientific communication materials, and related content are scientifically accurate, well-structured, and aligned with business needs.

This role requires strong medical content development capabilities, particularly in medical slide structuring, scientific storytelling, and clinical evidence translation. The role will translate complex disease, product, and clinical data into clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate communication materials.

The Medical Content Manager will work closely with Business Units, Medical Review teams, and internal content delivery teams to support high-quality content delivery, while contributing to content standardization, process improvement, and AI-enabled content production.

Responsibilities

Medical Content Planning and Delivery:Plan, write, and optimize medical slide decks, medical articles, disease education materials, and product-related scientific communication content. The role will focus on medical slide development, including content structure design, storyline development, key message refinement, chart logic optimization, and improvement of content clarity.

Medical Slide Development and Scientific Communication:Develop targeted medical slide materials based on different brand communication scenarios, and translate complex medical and clinical evidence into clear, structured, and impactful slide content. The role will also support the development of slide templates, content frameworks, expression standards, and quality check criteria.

Content Quality and Compliance Support:Ensure medical accuracy, appropriate evidence citation, rigorous expression, and alignment with internal compliance requirements throughout the content development process. The role will work with Medical Review teams to revise and improve content based on feedback, while helping maintain consistent quality standards across deliverables.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Project Management:Work closely with Business Units, Medical teams, Design teams, Review teams, and other stakeholders to understand content needs and drive timely delivery. The role should be able to independently manage complex content projects, balance multiple priorities, consolidate feedback, and ensure high-quality final delivery.

Innovation, Coaching and Methodology Development:Explore the use of AI tools in medical content production, information organization, draft generation, and slide structure optimization. The role will also provide content guidance and quality review support to colleagues, and help summarize reusable methodologies, templates, quality standards, and best practices to improve team efficiency and delivery quality.

Education and Experience

Master’s degree or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or other healthcare-related disciplines.

More than 6 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical communications, medical content, medical editing, or related fields.

Strong experience in medical slide development, with a good understanding of content architecture, scientific logic, slide expression, and audience communication.

Experience in pharmaceutical companies, medical communication agencies, medical education, medical content platforms, or related organizations is preferred.

Cross-functional collaboration experience with Business, Medical, Review, Design, and other teams is required. Experience in medical content review, compliance processes, or AI-assisted content production is preferred.

Technical Skills Requirements

Solid medical content development and scientific communication capabilities.

Strong capability in medical slide planning and production, including content structuring, information refinement, logic development, and wording optimization.

Ability to quickly understand and integrate medical literature, clinical studies, clinical guidelines, expert consensus, and product materials.

Strong medical writing skills, with rigorous, clear, and logical expression.

Good project management and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into executable content solutions.

Familiarity with content compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong risk and quality awareness.

Openness to AI tools and digital content production approaches, with a willingness to continuously learn and apply them in daily work.
