About this opportunity

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the implementation of local medical channel content strategies for assigned medicine(s)/therapeutic area(s) for Türkiye to enhance the dissemination of Pfizer scientific data

Assist in adapting global/US medical content and developing limited new local content in accordance with therapeutic area strategies, country regulations, and enterprise standards. Customize global/US content for local markets, including translation and compliance with local regulations

Promote content re-use and ensure that content creation is limited to locally prioritized assets when global content is unavailable

Responsible for reuse/creation of medical content documents across various formats required for medical communication across channels

Review and edit medical content deliverables as required in accordance with relevant internal SOPs and external guidelines including references and verifying anti-plagiarism

Adapt writing and editorial style to different types of clients and audiences from specialists, other allied health care professionals as well as consumer audience

Generate analytics reports and project scorecards aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Collaborate with other lines, relevant subject matter experts and external agencies ensuring the accuracy and quality of information presented in assigned documents

Deliver assigned documents on or before deadline, alerting project teams in a timely manner of any anticipated delays, information gaps or potential shortcomings in quality

Prioritize and multitask to enhance productivity and manage workload within the team

Under supervision from line manager, communicate with stakeholders regarding project progress to cross functional teams and ensuring that quality standards are being met and to optimize efficiency

Conduct quality control assessments of assigned deliverables as required

Stay updated on country regulations and guidance related to digital delivery of scientific information to external healthcare professionals (HCPs).

Stay informed about relevant Pfizer SOPs and guidance documents

Stay current on literature, emerging science, medical trends, and technological developments to enhance content review and development processes

Demonstrate Pfizer values, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and uphold integrity, performance, and teamwork

 

Basic Qualifications

Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD, PhD, MS, etc.)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector

Prior work experience in medical and scientific writing preferred

Skills & capabilities

Native or bilingual proficiency in Turkish

Omnichannel experience preferred

Experience with scientific peer-reviewed publications, global medical communications, and industry publication best practices

Represent a function within a matrix organization through a strong track record of excellent presentation, customer facing, and interpersonal skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills to develop and present scientific information in Turkish to varied audiences and articulate messages succinctly

Understand detailed technical information and convey complex ideas to a variety of audience types and cultures

Quickly build rapport and credibility with key internal and key external stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills

Fully conversant with relevant regulations and Pfizer policies and procedures acquired through training

Must be decisive, exercise good judgment in decisions, organized and with the ability to prioritize a large workload

Strong organizational skills to track numerous tasks for multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-oriented environment

Ability to work independently in a matrix environment with shown flexibility and organizational awareness

Solution focused with a flexible and pragmatic approach

Experience in using a range of digital platforms

Strong understanding of core digital metrics used by the organisation

Strong drive to learn and positive attitude to different ways of working

Fluent written and oral skills in English
