Launch into a year that will fast‑track your career in pharma.
As a Medical Affairs Placement Student at STADA UK, you’ll be a core member of a dynamic Medical Affairs team, working across Consumer Healthcare, Generics, Biosimilars and Specialty portfolios. This is your chance to gain broad, real-world exposure to Medical Affairs in a growing function, while contributing to meaningful business and scientific activities.

Along the way, you’ll build hands‑on experience in Medical Information, Medical Affairs Operations, Scientific Communications, Medical Education, Medical Governance and Compliance, collaborating closely with Senior Medical Advisors, MSLs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, R&D, Commercial and Marketing teams.
How You Will Make an Impact
Handle real Medical Information enquiries, helping to craft accurate, balanced and evidence-based responses.
Dive into scientific literature, distil complex data into clear summaries, and shape high-quality scientific and educational materials.
Play a key role in planning and delivering Medical Affairs events, from congresses and advisory boards to educational meetings.
Build your expertise in medical governance and compliance, including ABPI and PAGB Codes and core material review processes.
Collaborate closely with RAMACA colleagues across Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Compliance to gain a rounded view of the function.
Deliver an end-of-placement project, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and actively shape your own professional development.

Currently studying for a Life Sciences degree (e.g. Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Neuroscience or related).
Clear interest in the pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs, with the ability to interpret and communicate scientific information confidently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent organisation, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ideally some exposure to healthcare, scientific, customer service or office-based settings, and experience with literature reviews, research projects or data analysis.
Motivated to take ownership and show initiative, contributing positively to team culture and continuous improvement, even without line management responsibilities.
No prior pharmaceutical or Medical Affairs experience required, making this a strong opportunity to launch a career in Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance or related areas.

How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
