About the role:
As Manager Global Workplace Strategy & Interior Design, you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of modern, flexible, and sustainable workplace solutions across BioNTech SE's global locations. In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create innovative work environments that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience. You will also ensure that corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and design guidelines are consistently applied across all locations.
Your contribution:
Independently manage workplace and interior fit-out projects, with responsibility for budget, quality, timelines, and stakeholder management. Drive the development and implementation of innovative workplace concepts in collaboration with internal and external partners
Develop and implement workplace and interior design concepts in line with business requirements, workplace regulations, occupational health and safety requirements, and ergonomic standards
Develop, define, and continuously optimize global workplace and design standards to ensure a consistent and high-quality employee experience across all locations
Manage relevant administrative processes, including BSS tickets and purchase orders (P.O.s), as well as maintain and update CAD/BIM drawings, planning documents, and technical documentation
A good Match:
Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a comparable qualification, combined with a minimum of five years of professional experience in workplace design, office design, or interior design
Proven experience managing workplace and interior fit-out projects, including responsibility for cost, quality, timelines, and stakeholder management
Strong expertise in workplace strategy, interior planning, and the development of modern, flexible, and sustainable work environments
Solid knowledge of workplace regulations, occupational health and safety requirements, ergonomic standards, and corporate compliance frameworks
Experience in developing and implementing workplace and design standards, as well as proficiency in BIM (particularly Revit), CAD applications, and technical planning documentation
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive approach, a strong sense of ownership, and a structured, self-directed working style
Willingness to travel occasionally to BioNTech locations in Germany and abroad as part of projects
Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
