About this opportunity

The Position

The Opportunity:

The Planner Scheduler role supports the Facilities & Engineering team by planning and scheduling complex maintenance activities, optimizing resource utilization and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. The individual drives efficiency and continuous improvement in the maintenance planning process.

Responsibilities:

●      Manage all work order requests for laboratory instruments at the SSF campus, ensuring customer commitments are met.

●      Support assigned maintenance work center in the successful completion of both repetitive maintenance and customer-initiated work in compliance with GMP, EHS, and customer requirements.

●      Acts as a key point of contact between customers, vendors, and our internal partners as required to meet departmental service delivery objectives.

●      Develop and maintain a 4-6 week maintenance schedule to ensure calibration and preventive maintenance on-time completion.

●      Coordinate with maintenance technicians and operations staff to schedule maintenance activities.

●      Collaborate with MRO to secure parts needed for work order execution.

●      Monitor the CMMS database for issues related to equipment data, task lists, and maintenance plans, and properly address issues.

●      Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

●      Optimize schedule efficiency by grouping jobs based on location, equipment, technician skills, and workload.

●      Ensure schedule stability regarding materials and capacity through planning, training, and job coordination.

●      Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

●      Assist in developing and integrating innovative work order processing solutions that lead to efficiencies in the F&E Department.

●      Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.

●      Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and execute maintenance activities.

●      Develop procedures and job aids to ensure consistent execution of planning & scheduling functions.

Who you are:

●      3+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.

●      Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and software, SAP PM .

●      Solid understanding of MS Windows and Microsoft office suite and Google suite.

●      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

●      Proven ability to optimize maintenance processes and resource utilization.

●      Strong leadership and communication skills.

●      Standard work requires significant amount of keying and mousing. Must be able to accommodate extended periods of computer usage to meet business needs.

●      Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

This is an on-site position. Relocation benefits are not approved for this posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is $ 65,900.00 - $ 122,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
